The services offered in the Grant Writing Laboratory are closely coordinated with services offered by the Office of Sponsored Programs.

Curating funding opportunities and advising on grant opportunity "fit" to increase competitiveness of proposals.
Funding search databases, funding alerts, 1:1 finding funding discussions, limited submissions
Capacity Building
Through grantsmanship training, advancing faculty knowledge and skills to find funding and write effective grant proposals.
Grant Lab Chats, Grant Writing Mentoring Program, New Faculty Orientation, Lunch & Learn Workshops
Proposal Development
Working with faculty and research teams, paired with online resources, to improve the quality of proposals through iterative feedback and tailored advice.
Planning and strategy meetings, 1:1 proposal feedback, templates and guides library, team facilitation and management
Networking
Enhancing research and collaborative culture through events where faculty hear and present on interests, expertise, and project ideas.
University and college networking events, 1:1 meetings to suggest potential collaborators, expert database and other resources for finding new colleagues
Communication
Increasing faculty awareness of funded research and supportive NSU resources available through Grant Lab, the Division of Research, and other campus offices.
